Complete the Online Class
Complete the 4 module online class. Progress on your video based class is automatically saved allowing you to come and go as needed giving you maximum flexibility. + You get unlimited Exam attempts.
Download and print your DPS LTC-104 from us and take that with you to your shooting proficiency exam (see step 2).
Shooting Proficiency Exam
You'll shoot 20 rounds from 3 yards, 20 rounds from 7 yards, and 10 rounds from 15 yards (completion time: 1 hour). Schedule this with a verified instructor in Hallsville, TX after you complete step 1.

Complete the DPS Application
Complete your application on the Texas DPS (Department of Public Safety) website.

Texas DPS Mails You Your License
Once your application is processed and approved, the DPS will mail your license out to you. This typically takes about 4 weeks if done correctly. Please follow the exact instructions we give you in the course to make sure you get it done correctly the first time.

Getting Your CCW License in Mail
